Harrison Wine

In pursuit of perfume, texture, and drinkability, Riley works with vineyards across the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, and Barossa Valley.

With an emphasis on fruit quality and varietal expression, his winemaking style weaves between the lines of conventional and minimal-intervention.

Riley Harrison and his team have always been on our radar. Spanning McLaren Vale, the Barossa Valley, and the Adelaide Hills, Harrison Wines is unified by a decidedly contemporary philosophy — early harvesting, whole bunch pressing, and minimal new oak — prioritising freshness and precision over weight and extraction. Exactly what we are after.

Riley's specialty is to champion each grapes individual characteristics, highlighting grapes such as Cinsaut, Grenache and Cabernet Franc that are often blended with other grapes, as a single varietal expression. And we love it.

Why We Love These Wines

  • Fruit sourced from organically managed vineyards across South Australia
  • Beautiful textures and enticing aromatics that make for effortless, pleasure-first drinking
  • Minimal-intervention winemaking that highlights pure fruit expression and regional character

Frequently asked questions about Harrison Wine

What makes Harrison Wine wines special?

Harrison Wine wines are selected for their quality, personality and sense of place. We focus on producers whose wines feel distinctive, carefully made and genuinely enjoyable to drink.

How are these wines made?

Harrison Wine follows a thoughtful, low-intervention approach to winemaking. The focus is on healthy vineyards, careful farming, hand-harvested fruit, wild yeast fermentations and avoiding unnecessary additions or manipulation in the winery. Rather than chasing a particular style, the aim is to produce wines that honestly reflect the vineyard, the season and the winemaker's intent.

Which Harrison Wine wine should I start with?

If you're new to Harrison Wine, start with the bottle that best matches the style you already enjoy. If you're unsure, get in touch and we'll happily point you toward the best place to begin.

Are these wines good for gifting?

Absolutely. Harrison Wine makes an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys discovering thoughtful, small-batch wines. Add a greeting card at checkout and we'll make sure no pricing information is included in the parcel.

How should I store and serve these wines?

Store bottles somewhere cool, dark and stable. Serve whites, sparkling and lighter reds chilled, and give fuller reds a gentle cool-down rather than serving them too warm.
