The benchmark expression of Alpine Teroldego

Foradori’s estate Teroldego brings together fruit from several parcels across nine hectares in the Campo Rotaliano, a dramatic alluvial plain enclosed by the Dolomites. Centuries of movement from the Noce River have deposited limestone, granite and porphyry throughout its gravelly, sandy soils, giving the wine its distinctive mineral freshness.

Farmed biodynamically and certified by Demeter, the fruit was fermented in cement before spending 12 months in a combination of large wooden casks and cement. This gentle approach preserves Teroldego’s vivid fruit and floral character while allowing the different vineyard parcels to come together as a complete expression of place.

Dark cherries and wild berries lead the way, joined by violets, alpine herbs and subtle spice. The palate is juicy and energetic, with lively acidity, supple tannins and a mineral thread carrying everything into a fresh, savoury finish. Characterful yet wonderfully approachable, this is an ideal introduction to both Teroldego and the extraordinary work of the Foradori family.
