Brash Higgins is the creative union of American sommelier Brad Hickey and McLaren Vale local Nicole Thorpe - a meeting of minds, soil, and shared curiosity for the unconventional.

After years in New York and Paris, Brad arrived in McLaren Vale for vintage 2007 and never left. Nicole's family had planted Omensetter Vineyard in 1997 on distinctive red clay and limestone soils. Together, they saw potential in both the land and each other.

Brash Higgins has become one of the Vale's most distinctive micro-producers. The certified organic Omensetter vineyard now hosts Nero d'Avola, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zibibbo. Their minimal intervention wines are deeply expressive—from the juicy NYMPH to the oxidative BLOOM to their elegant flagship Nero.
