The crowd-favourite orange wine finds its stride

Now in its third release, If Only Maybe has firmly established itself as a favourite within the Momento Mori line-up. This natural skin-contact wine brings together the Italian varieties Nosiola, Vermentino and Malvasia, grown in Central Victoria.

Aromatic and mineral, it carries enough skin-derived texture to give the palate shape and complexity without becoming heavy or overly grippy. Freshness remains at the centre, bringing balance and energy to a wine that feels layered, expressive and wonderfully easy to enjoy.

About the Wine

The third release of this new orange wine from Momento Mori!

It is comprised of Nosiola, Vermentino and Malvasia. It has some texture from the skin contact but is ultimately very fresh, complex and well balanced.

About the Winemaker
When it comes to cult winemakers there are only a few in Australia that have the same following as Momento Mori. With wines that are considered just as alive as the land they farm its not hard to see why.

Dane and Hannah begun Momento Mori with the ideology of creating wines that first and foremost respect the living and are wines that they like to drink and share. They farm two sites one on the steep hills of Strezelecki Ranges in Gippsland and another beneath the Black Snake Ranges in the Tonimbuk valley.

Farmed with organic principles and a appreciation of the living and dynamic environment around them. Momento Mori wines are all very small batch with no use of new oak or mechanical pumps used on the wines, no fining or filtering.
