l’Octavin is the cult Jura project of Alice Bouvot, crafting tiny quantities of wildly expressive natural wines from her small winery in Arbois. These highly sought-after bottles are instantly recognisable by their hand-drawn gnome labels: playful on the outside, deeply serious within.
Working with organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards across prized Jura lieux-dits, Alice makes wines with no additions, no sulphur, and no compromise. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered, these are raw, alive wines that speak clearly of place, season, and intent.
