With a nose that remind you of the lollies you would get at the school canteen, the 2024 Jauma ‘Danby’ Grenache is a summer ready wine, made for whatever you need. 

Holding aromatic notes of Raspberry, Rhubarb and overripe Cherries, alongside the more subtle notes of spearmint candy and elderflower, Danby will bring you back to those simpler times. 

This wine has no need to show off. Thanks to James Erskine and his team following the natural wine making course, the wine is beautifully soft, while packing lots of flavour. 

As you drink, sweet raspberry and cherry is the first to greet. As that cherry ripens, a hint of that sourness comes through alongside a little spritz. That effervescent helps to bring the rhubarb pie out right at the end, rounding off this wonderful summer wine. 

Wether it’s the beach, the park, or at home, this wine will be the wine that you want next to you. Just remember to bring a bottle opener to pop that crown seal!
