Au fil des Générations is unfortunately a cuvée we are seeing more and more frequently. 

Tony Bornard prefers to make a unique wine from each vineyard but, since 2017, whenever the yields are severely reduced, like in 2021, he has combined all of his Ploussard into this one wine. It includes what would normally be in La Chamade, Point Barre, and Tony's Vin de Ploussard and Plou Plou.

It's become a celebration of the four generations of Bornards who have made wine from these vines, with everyone's name on the label (Tony and his sister, his parents Philippe and Annie, Philippe's parents and Philippe's grandfather).

Harvested at the end of September, it was a light vintage, so this wine is truly a light red, subtly evoking cherries. It was bottled in July 2022. Certified organic.

About Domaine Bornard

Tony Bornard is one of the Jura's most exciting young winemakers, taking over his family's iconic domaine in Pupillin from his father Philippe in 2017. Farming 11 hectares across the renowned Arbois-Pupillin and Côtes du Jura appellations, Tony works with the region's classic varieties including Ploussard, Trousseau, Chardonnay, Savagnin and Pinot Noir. His meticulous approach in both the vineyard and winery is driven by a focus on healthy soils, precision and expressing the unique character of each site.

Based in the picturesque village of Pupillin, Tony crafts wines that embody the purity, energy and drinkability that have made the Jura one of the world's most sought-after wine regions. Alongside the region's iconic oxidative styles, he produces vibrant, terroir-driven reds and whites that celebrate Jura's distinctive grape varieties while remaining unmistakably expressive of place.
