A perfect table wine. Bright enough to toss back, strong enough to sit with. Aromatics of cassis, crushed rock and a mossy forest floor give it the bright nose that hangs. With tasting notes of big juicy plums, raspberries, and cassis, along with a medium sized body to keep you coming back. It really is the perfect table wine - perfect for lunch, perfect for dinner, perfect for breakfast.

"I swilled this and thought, gee, Damon Koerner must really like cabernet. He must, as the wine is so good. It's made more progressively, unfiltered and unfined, and it drinks with a manner of ease that I can see being very attractive to those who adore the variety and to newcomers. And we need newcomers. 

The tannins feel porous and seem to soak up the fruit, elastic in a sense. Blackcurrant leaf, blueberry, red cherry, wild pepper and some dried fig with a dusting of bay leaf throughout. A portrait of Australia, its landscape, the dried bush elements, the neighbours coming over – it speaks of these things very well."
