A taste of Southern Rhone - DEFIALY style! A lovely medium-bodied fruit forward red. Good weight, bountiful red fruits and beautifully balanced. Serve this at room temp or just below and it will go down a treat.
Made from organically grown fruit, farmed in the Pyrenees. 100% whole cluster fermentation for 3 weeks and aged 12 months in seasoned oak. 15PPM SO2.
All wines unfiltered, unfined & wild fermented.
About DEFIALY
Based in the Macedon Ranges, Micah Hewitt's background as a butcher and love for pairing good wholesome country-style food with honest wines provides abundant inspiration for his DEFIALY label. But most significantly, his spark ignites from his parents and the love they shared for each other as well as Micah and his sister Amber.
DEFIALY is an acronym for "Don't ever forget I'll always love you" which is Micah's way of carrying on his parents tradition of signing all cards with DEFIALY. How beautiful..
