About The Wine

Our best-selling, iconic natural orange wine is a sunshine-in-a-glass kind of bottle. It’s made locally from Chalmer's beautifully farmed Heathcote fruit and it’s adored by just about everyone who tries it. Juicy, fresh, aromatic and super approachable, it’s the perfect gateway into the world of orange wine with lower alcohol levels at a refreshing 10.5%. A true crowd-pleaser that keeps you coming back. It’s the sort of bottle you crack open anytime, anywhere, with anyone.

Expect a joyful hit of expressive florals on the nose. Think perfumed stone fruits, lemon zest, musk and spring blossoms. On the palate it flips the script. Clean, refreshing and cool with a slatey, citrus-salted edge that ties everything together in a seriously moreish way. Can't recommend this one enough.

About Momento Mori

When it comes to cult winemakers there are only a few in Australia that have the same following as Momento Mori. With wines that are considered just as alive as the land they farm its not hard to see why.

Dane and Hannah begun Momento Mori with the ideology of creating wines that first and foremost respect the living and are wines that they like to drink and share. They farm two sites one on the steep hills of Strezelecki Ranges in Gippsland and another beneath the Black Snake Ranges in the Tonimbuk valley.

Farmed strictly with organic principles and a appreciation of the living and dynamic environment around them. Momento Mori wines are all very small batch with no use of new oak or mechanical pumps used on the wines, no fining or filtering and no additions, including no S02 at any stage of wine making.

Absolutely, we’d love to see you. Simply choose Store Pickup at checkout and we’ll send you a text as soon as your order is ready.

My order is a gift, can I leave a message?

Yes, of course. You can leave a message at checkout in the ‘Notes to Seller’ box - just click Update Cart and we’ll make sure it’s included.

Do I need to order a minimum quantity?

No minimums - we love orders of all sizes. For packaging reasons, quantities of 7 or 13 aren’t ideal, but we can still make them work if needed.

What is your heat policy?

We always want your wine to arrive in perfect condition. On days of extreme heat, we may delay dispatch, and our courier may do the same.

Delivery is free on orders over $99.

All other orders are charged a flat rate of $15.
