About Domaine Des Freres

Henri and Valentin are two brothers that grew up near Chinon. Unlike most family related wine stories these two brothers weren’t born into the industry, much the opposite with their parents encouraging to study hard and study at university. The two brothers became engineers and worked as such for several years before taking the plunge into wine in 2013 and 2015 respectively. Both brothers attained their BTS in viticulture and oenology in Bergerac and worked under some incredible winemakers of the Loire before finding their own vineyard in 2019.

Officially launching in 2019 their immediate conversion to environmentally conscious organic viticulture. Staking of 12,000 young plants to protect them. Straightening of old vines. Their first harvest was 2020 with their first wines being bottled in December 2020.

Our same day delivery is eligible every day of the week except Wednesdays.

Important Delivery Information:

Same day deliveries must be received in person and cannot be left unattended.
Delivery drivers will refuse delivery to an intoxicated person.

Standard deliveries (not same day) are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ so our driver can leave the parcel in a safe place for you.
We will always do our best to find a safe place, however if the driver deems it unsafe to leave, your order will be returned to await further instructions from you, or in the case of Australia Post deliveries, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection facility.
