Notes from Micah Hewitt, Winemaker:

A wine I love to make every year - every year since the first in 2021 it has changed a bit due to fruit availability / vineyard source yet made in the same way and always sharing some similar characteristics.

This years cuvèe sees a return to fruit from the Pyrenees with a hybrid rosé / orange vibe with strawberry leaf and a lightly creamy mouth feel.

Whole bunch Pyrenees Shiraz (80%) pressed for rosé over whole bunch viognier. macerated for one week then pressed to neutral oak for 10 months elevage with no topping up of the barrels.

All wines unfiltered, unfined wild fermented.

About DEFIALY

Micah Hewitt's inspiration for DEFIALY can be placed in a few places understandably a great appreciation for quality produce and land. But most significantly would be his parents and their love the shared for each other as well as Micah and his sister Amber.

DEFIALY is an acronym for "Don't ever forget I'll always love you" which is Micah's way of carrying on his parents tradition of signing all cards with DEFIALY.

Orders placed after 3pm will be delivered the next applicable day.

Our same day delivery is eligible every day of the week except Wednesdays.

Important Delivery Information:

Same day deliveries must be received in person and cannot be left unattended.
Delivery drivers will refuse delivery to an intoxicated person.
ID check may be required to confirm recipient is aged 18 or over.
Standard deliveries (not same day) are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ so our driver can leave the parcel in a safe place for you.
We will always do our best to find a safe place, however if the driver deems it unsafe to leave, your order will be returned to await further instructions from you, or in the case of Australia Post deliveries, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection facility.
Delivery charges are non-refundable. A $15 charge may apply for redelivery.
