About The Wine
Bursting with youth and audacity, this sparkling is fresh and lively. Mineral and elegant with a good acidity and texture. A sparkling cuvee to remember in the world of bubbles!
About Clotilde Davenne
Although not following what would be considered a traditional French path to winemaking it is very apparent Clotilde knows what she is doing. Clotilde learnt how to make wine at wine school in 1986 and followed this up with a vintage in California. By 1989 Davenne’s journey in Chablis began with learning from one of the regions star producers Jean-Marc Brocard.
After spending 17 years gaining experience and soaking up knowledge from Jean-Marc Brocard, Davenne began her own journey with a tiny 1.9 hectare plot of Petit Chablis and has since expanded putting together a patchwork of vineyards expressing different grapes and terroirs.
