This chimeric mutation of pinot noir is simply about pink florals in spring. Planted in 1985 in the heart of the Piccadilly Valley, Peramangk country. Handpicked mid autumn. Wild open ferment destemmed with whole bunches and a few handfuls of stalks added back. Gentle cap submersion by hand once a day for 7-10 days, pressed to seasoned French barrique.

Freshly baked vosges mountain cherry cake; the palate drive is from crunchy whole bunch natural acidity. Ochota trademark tightly wound fine tannins in a core of bright red berries. Succulent with the mid palate holding length and energy.

Our same day delivery is eligible every day of the week except Wednesdays.

Important Delivery Information:

Same day deliveries must be received in person and cannot be left unattended.
First time orders can only be delivered to the person who placed the order – we are required to check ID to confirm the recipient is 18 or over.
Delivery drivers will refuse delivery to an intoxicated person.
People receiving gift orders must have their ID checked to confirm they are 18 or over.
Standard deliveries (not same day) are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ so our driver can leave the parcel in a safe place for you.
We will always do our best to find a safe place, however if the driver deems it unsafe to leave, your order will be returned to await further instructions from you, or in the case of Australia Post deliveries, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection facility.
Delivery charges are non-refundable. A $15 charge will apply for redelivery.
