About the Wine
A light and ethereal Pinot Noir that dances across your palette. Made from a blend of all the Gentle Folk estate vineyards plus the Wilsmore and St James's vineyard in Piccadilly. The aromatics and gentle tannins make this the perfect pair for practically anything on the dinner (or lunch) table.
About Gentle Folk
Gentle Folk is the winery of Gareth and Rainbo Belton, both marine scientists, who found themselves drawn to the Adelaide Hills to start making wine. With the help of viticulturist Dr Dylan Grigg they began acquiring small plots of vine and growing their own grapes - a necessary step, in Gareth’s mind, to establishing a true connection with the land. Since their first three-barrel ferment in 2013, Gentle Folk has made an impact on the Adelaide Hills wine scene, bridging the natural and traditional wine aesthetics in an honest (and delicious) way. The wines range... to single-site chardonnays and pinot noirs of classical proportions.
