About The Wine
This wine is the result of blending six plots of the estate. The maceration, lasting about two weeks, is carried out with partially destemmed bunches (from 20% to 40% destemmed depending on the vintage) and a majority of whole bunches, i.e. with the stalk. Following vinification, the wines are aged for one year, 90% in 228-litre barrels and 600-litre demi-muids and 10% in vats. T
his vintage has a slightly more tannic structure than the wines of the region, thanks to the contribution of the whole bunch. This will bring freshness and substance to the wine in the following years.
This wine has the crisp and tangy aspect of the region, but it also brings out a fruity and sweet aspect (morello cherry) in its youth to delight the taste buds. It will age very well and will develop beautiful fruity, slightly floral and undergrowth notes, after a few years in the cellar.
