About The Wine

This is no ordinary rosé. Estate grown Syrah, which for Nelly and Alan Cooper means grown biodynamically - so you can be assured this is top shelf fruit. Like all their cuvées, it is handled gently, softly destemmed and gently hand plunged.

The magic comes from being fermented and aged in Georgian Qvevris and old French oak. Full malolactic fermentation gives it a full, but soft mouth feel.

It unfurls across your tongue with blood orange, watermelon and grapefruit. Ripe strawberries, juicy cherries as you swirl, and just enough earthiness and lacy tannin to hold everything neatly in place like a rolled up love-letter bound in twine. It finishes bone dry and puckers you up ready for the next sip.

About Cobaw Ridge

Cobaw Ridge winery was established in 1985 by Alan and Nelly Cooper. Vines were planted on granitic, sandy soil in the cool climate Macedon Ranges, on the cusp of the Great Dividing Range at some 610m. Their positioning, in a natural amphitheatre, provides the perfect place to produce terroir-driven wines. 100% estate grown, they are now fully certified organic and biodynamic, something they are very proud of, and deservedly so.

Important Delivery Information:

Same day deliveries must be received in person and cannot be left unattended.
Delivery drivers will refuse delivery to an intoxicated person.
ID check may be required to confirm recipient is aged 18 or over.
Standard deliveries (not same day) are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ so our driver can leave the parcel in a safe place for you.
We will always do our best to find a safe place, however if the driver deems it unsafe to leave, your order will be returned to await further instructions from you, or in the case of Australia Post deliveries, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection facility.
Delivery charges are non-refundable. A $15 charge may apply for redelivery.
