About The Wine
The pride and joy of modern Abruzzo winemaking, this wine epitomises Montepulciano d’Abruzzo as Italy’s most treasured wine style. It offers the greatest quality and value for money, and has transcended its origins.
''An absolute champion of concentration, fragrance & palatal roundness. Truly immensely enjoyed. With a combination of distinct black cherry and blackberry aromatics. With density, splendour and brilliance of the best kind. Winemaking at its apex utilising native varietals. Chapeau.'' Luca Maroni
Tasting Notes
“Ruby red colour with purplish reflections. The nose shows layers of plum and red cherry aromas, with blueberry, blackcurrant, and savoury red fruits. Medium bodied, softly textured and with great fruit intensity.” - Feudi Bizantini.
Winemaking Notes
It was fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks for 15 to 20 days at controlled temperature. Part of the wine was aged in barriques while the rest was kept in stainless steel tanks before blending and bottling.
