2024 William Downie 'Cathedral' Pinot Noir

The perfect introduction to the astute winemaking that is William Downie's signature. The wine shows bright raspberry, fresh cherry, pomegranate and rose petals. The palate is fine and crunchy with more red fruits as well as black pepper and rhubarb characters. Just like the Sullivan Chardonnay, this is made for drinking now.

Opens with lively citrus notes of lime, lemon and grapefruit, complemented by aromas of nutmeg spice and hazelnut oak, and as the glass warms, richer layers of ripe peach, vanilla custard and buttered toast emerge.

Melbourne Same Day Delivery:

Please place your order by 3pm.
Orders placed after 3pm will be delivered the next applicable day.
Select 'same day' option at checkout.
Our same day delivery is eligible every day of the week except Wednesdays.

Important Delivery Information:

Same day deliveries must be received in person and cannot be left unattended.
First time orders can only be delivered to the person who placed the order – we are required to check ID to confirm the recipient is 18 or over.
Delivery drivers will refuse delivery to an intoxicated person.
People receiving gift orders must have their ID checked to confirm they are 18 or over.
Standard deliveries (not same day) are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ so our driver can leave the parcel in a safe place for you.
We will always do our best to find a safe place, however if the driver deems it unsafe to leave, your order will be returned to await further instructions from you, or in the case of Australia Post deliveries, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection facility.
Delivery charges are non-refundable. A $15 charge will apply for redelivery.
