About The Wine

This is a wine loaded with tropical and citrus fruits, perfectly balanced and simply bursting with flavour and freshness.

From a mild, low-yielding, high-quality vintage, this vibrant estate-grown wine has received the same deluxe treatment from Michael Downer as everything else at Murdoch Hill. The vines, planted across three blocks in 1998, lie on sandy soils shot through with quartz and ironstone. This year, the fruit fermented and matured entirely in tank. Previous years have seen a small portion fermented in barrel, but in recent years, Downer has moved away from that practice to preserve freshness and pure fruit expression.

Important Delivery Information:

Same day deliveries must be received in person and cannot be left unattended.
Delivery drivers will refuse delivery to an intoxicated person.

Standard deliveries (not same day) are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ so our driver can leave the parcel in a safe place for you.
We will always do our best to find a safe place, however if the driver deems it unsafe to leave, your order will be returned to await further instructions from you, or in the case of Australia Post deliveries, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection facility.
Delivery charges are non-refundable. A $15 charge may apply for redelivery.
