Chardonnay 96 clone grown by good friends Matthias and Lauren Utzinger from Utzinger wines in the Tamar Valley.
Whole-bunch pressed to tank and settled overnight before being transferred to old French oak for 12 months on full lees.
About R. D’Meure
D’Meure is a collaboration of uncle and nephew Dirk and Rory which started in 2016. Based on the shores of D’Entrecasteaux Channel 40Km South of Hobart overlooking Bruny Island, the vineyard is fully organic practices with no use of systemic sprays or herbicides. As of 2020 Dirk has retired from winemaking leaving the vineyards and winemaking in Rory’s hands and we can’t wait to see where his wines take us!
