About The Wine
Located high in the Alta Langa hills, this region is famed for wines that showcase the softer side of Nebbiolo. From a dry-grown site, two Nebbiolo clones (one Barolo and one Valtellina) are blended to form a wine of purity and power. One delivers the classic Nebbiolo backbone, while the other contributes red fruit and perfume. The fruit ferments and macerates on skins for 40 days. It then rests for 14 months in a 12-hectolitre barrel before being racked straight to bottle.

Linnaea’s approach is one of artistry and passion, with a depth of care for each region they work in, and the communities they work alongside. They straddle the old and the new world without betraying a bias toward either. This talented duo make wines in both Piemonte and Heathcote
