Drinking a chilled bottle of What-a-Melon rosé is like standing beneath a waterfall on a hot summer day. As the first sip hits your lips, it's like the cool, crisp water cascading over you—light, refreshing, and utterly invigorating.

Made by Owen Latta from an experimental blend of Syrah, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. This is fun rosé for fun times.

About Owen Latta

Like a lot of winemakers Owen Latta was born into the wine industry after his parents purchased some land in 1970s that is now home to the Eastern Peake wine label. But unlike most winemakers Owen Latta completed his first vintage at just 15.

Owen now manages both LATTA and Eastern Peake winery with the
former being a chance to experiment with interesting grape varietals and exciting winemaking techniques.

He’s just as passionate about sustainable farming and improving soil health, always aiming to make a positive impact in the vineyard.

Through Eastern Peake and Latta Vino, Owen continues to craft wines that tell a story of place and time often pushing the boundaries with his innovative approach.
