About The Wine
This stunning wine emerges from vineyards rooted in the distinctive sub-Apennine sands of calcareous origin, nestled at 280 meters above sea level in the rolling hills of Sicily.
The blend harmoniously marries 60% Moscato di Alessandria with 40% Albanello, creating a uniquely Sicilian expression that speaks to both tradition and terroir.
The fifteen-year-old vines, cultivated through entirely biological methods without any chemical intervention, planted at 6,000 plants per hectare using both Guyot and spurred cordon training systems. This careful vineyard management allows each vine to fully express the character of the soils beneath them.
After hand harvesting, the grapes undergo fermentation relies solely on indigenous yeasts, allowing the wine's authentic personality to emerge over fifteen days of skin maceration - adding depth and complexity. The wine then matures for six months in concrete tanks, preserving its purity and mineral expression, followed by a month of bottle aging.
