About The Wine

The 2024 Carousal Pinot Gris is a pale straw-coloured wine and opens with lifted aromas of red apple, pear and white nectarine, leading to a light-bodied palate that bursts with vibrant citrus flavours. The mid-palate reveals a delightful texture of stone fruits and honeysuckle, culminating in a clean, crisp finish that perfectly captures the region's distinctive terroir.

Vineyard

Nestled in the cool-climate Alpine Valleys of North East Victoria, this vineyard thrives in the region's high rainfall and unique cool subalpine continental climate, creating exceptional white wines. Despite the challenges of managing the high moisture and maintaining vine health, the rewards are remarkable each vintage

Winemaking

The fruit is whole berry pressed, with a warm ferment and time spent off gross lees for three months before bottling.

Important Delivery Information:

Same day deliveries must be received in person and cannot be left unattended.

Standard deliveries (not same day) are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ so our driver can leave the parcel in a safe place for you.
We will always do our best to find a safe place, however if the driver deems it unsafe to leave, your order will be returned to await further instructions from you, or in the case of Australia Post deliveries, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection facility.
