About the Wine
Apéritif time wine here; as the sun is setting or a weekend lunch-time drop. A lovely lifted, pithy, white floral aromatic reminiscent of spring-time. Great tension on the palate; lemon, sweet pear fruit cut through with refreshing acidity and lovely balance. Cool, white, feathery minerality that we see from wine on Harcourt granite and a subtle talcy texture. It's extremely clean, easy and morish.
About Little Reddie
Pat Underwoods passion for wine was found through his passion for coffee. Whilst working in a bar in Castlemaine his colleague and friend Jarad Curwood from Chapter Wine allowed him to pick some grapes from a farm under his care. This led to the first wine produced under the Little Reddie label. A Shiraz fermented in his father’s backyard and aptly named after the drought hardy, introduced fish he was catching in local waters.
