About the Wine
A gorgeous balance of bright fruits with persistent acidity and a frame that allows the granite minerality to shine. It’s quite a classic wine, with a beautiful savoury spectrum and delicate fruit. Very energising sort of a lunch time / aperitivo fizz, 11.5% ABV, clean as a whistle and very moorish.
Made from single-site, single-variety Shiraz sourced from a unique block on the Dash Farms Vineyard on the western ridge of Leanganook, Victoria. How good does that sound!?
About Little Reddie
Pat Underwoods passion for wine was found through his passion for coffee. Whilst working in a bar in Castlemaine his colleague and friend Jarad Curwood from Chapter Wine allowed him to pick some grapes from a farm under his care. This led to the first wine produced under the Little Reddie label. A Shiraz fermented in his father’s backyard and aptly named after the drought hardy, introduced fish he was catching in local waters.
