Gut Oggau is one of Austria’s most iconic natural wine estates, producing cult wines instantly recognisable by their hand-drawn black and white portrait labels. The wines have become benchmarks for biodynamic winemaking in Burgenland.
The 13-hectare estate sits in the village of Oggau, near the shores of Lake Neusiedl, on one of the region’s oldest vineyard sites. When Stephanie and Eduard took over in 2007, the property had been neglected for decades—its vines free from chemicals and perfectly primed for a return to biodynamic farming.
Working exclusively with native Austrian varieties, Gut Oggau’s wines are expressive, soulful, and unmistakably alive. Each cuvée forms part of a broader narrative—individual characters shaped by site, season, and careful hands—resulting in wines that feel both playful and profound.

Do I need to order a minimum quantity?
No minimums - we love orders of all sizes. For packaging reasons, quantities of 7 or 13 aren’t ideal, but we can still make them work if needed.

What is your heat policy?
We always want your wine to arrive in perfect condition. On days of extreme heat, we may delay dispatch, and our courier may do the same.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on orders over $99.
All other orders are charged a flat rate of $15.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We dispatch orders same-day or next-business-day. Delivery takes up to 5 business days Australia-wide — you can find full delivery timeframes here
