John and Jennifer Nagorcka are among Australia’s true pioneers of biodynamic winegrowing. At Hochkirch, their connection to land is not philosophical — it’s lived, daily, and deeply practical.
The 20-acre family vineyard forms part of a larger 700-acre Demeter-certified biodynamic farm in Tarrington, South-west Victoria. Dry-grown, hand-pruned and hand-harvested, the vines thrive without shortcuts, producing wines that speak clearly of place, season, and soil.
In the cellar, intervention is kept to a minimum. The result is wines of depth and texture, marked by Hochkirch’s signature earth-driven intensity and quiet confidence.

Absolutely, we’d love to see you. Simply choose Store Pickup at checkout and we’ll send you a text as soon as your order is ready.

My order is a gift, can I leave a message?
Yes, of course. You can leave a message at checkout in the ‘Notes to Seller’ box - just click Update Cart and we’ll make sure it’s included.

Do I need to order a minimum quantity?
No minimums - we love orders of all sizes. For packaging reasons, quantities of 7 or 13 aren’t ideal, but we can still make them work if needed.
What if I want to order more than is available?

What is your heat policy?
We always want your wine to arrive in perfect condition. On days of extreme heat, we may delay dispatch, and our courier may do the same.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on orders over $99.
All other orders are charged a flat rate of $15.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We dispatch orders same-day or next-business-day. Delivery takes up to 5 business days Australia-wide — you can find full delivery timeframes here
