2019 Château La Fleur des Graves 'Graves de Vayres' Bordeaux (2 bottles)

Equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged 12 months in oak barrels. Rich and complex in the mouth, with red fruit aromas intertwines with vanilla, wood and delicate spice flavours. After a delicate attack, the wine grows in strength on the palate, expressing freshness and richness as well as good complex aromas.

2023 Place of Changing Winds Syrah No. 2 (2 bottles)

A blend of 66% Heathcote and 34% Harcourt fruit, crafted with the same meticulous care as the estate’s higher-tier wines. Around 70% whole bunches were used, and the wine spent time in large-format oak before resting in tank. The result is a cool-climate Syrah that’s spicy, aromatic, and structured. Expect notes of black plum, exotic spice, licorice, and herbs, with smoky and floral undertones. Medium to full-bodied with firm, raspy tannins and a brooding, savory depth, it’s a wine that drinks well now but will reward cellaring.

A vibrant and expressive wine that captures the essence of the region.
