Description
Clean and pronounced aromas of preserved lemon and white peach with hints of lime, nougat and flint. There are complexing notes of toast, cinnamon, cashews and cream from time spent in barrel.
This Chardonnay has a medium bodied palate that has elegance and texture, imparted through lees contact during time spent in barrel. The wine shows elegance, yet power with intense fruit characters of white peach and lemon curd, with floral notes of acacia blossom. There is a balance between the acid spine, powerful fruit intensity and complexity from the toasty oak and creamy finish. A nice textural grip frames the wine and gives an amazing persistent length.
