Sunshine is upon us, so its time to play in parks, bum at beaches and frolic with friends. To get those sunny day juices flowing you need the perfect juice!
A menage a trois complete with skin contact and playfully luscious forbidden fruit ought to get the excitement levels up and quench that sweat on your brow, made to be shared...of course!
Giovanni Armani Giorgio Bianco Superiore
Vermentino from two different sources: Bassham's certified organic site in Barmera, and an un-certified but lovingly tended and idyllic site in the Piccadilly Valley. Malvasia also from Bassham's, and a little Trebbiano from the Hoffmann's in the Barossa.
Various levels of skin contact, separate ferments, lees work, all the stuff. Blended. Textural, but definitely more bianco than rancio. Pinging acidity. Malvasia adds a slight tropical fruit element, but balanced by the clean and sharp vermentino.
La Violetta Lounge O
Easy breezy orange from La Violetta ready for the park or to open your next dinner party. A lot of front-palate juiciness backed up by some singing acidity a la Apricot, Grapefruit and Lemon Peel. La Violetta strutting their skin-contact prowess with some grapes from Great Southern, WA. A blend of Vermentino, Pinot Gris, Gewürtztraminer and Gruner left on solids for 6 months for added grip! Have another bottle nearby because this will be drank quickly!
Year Wines Noodle Juice
Year Wines source 100% of their fruit from growers in McLaren Vale in South Australia. All their wines are wild fermented and bottled with zero additions aside from a small portion of S02 in some instances.
Noodle Juice is a blend of Grillo and Arneis with the Arneis spending a bit of time on skins.
