1. 2020 Aller Trop Loin Pinot Gris
Crafted from fruit from a high altitude upper Yarra Valley vineyard. The grapes were foot-stomped and spent 48 hours on skins prior to fermentation.
Aromatics of baked apples and spice with flavours of apples, pears, cantaloupe, lemon zest and white pepper. An elegant, ethereal and beautifully textured wine that meets traditional and contemporary half way.
2. 2021 Dormilona House Orenji
Organic Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, hand harvested then fermented on skins for two weeks in open fermenters, and a giant cement egg for eight weeks. After this it was pressed off to barrel and egg for full malo. Simply racked, with a touch of sulphur before bottling. Margaret River, Western Australia.
3. 2021 Smallfry Tangerine Dream
Aromas of citrus peel and spice blend with baser notes of oatmeal and brown rice.
Full and dry palate with grainy tannin make this the red drinkers white, multi layered, rewards time in the glass. Bridges the gap between something like an oaky chardonnay and the more confronting skin contact whites out there.
4. 2021 Delinquente Tuff Nutt Bianco Pet Nat
The Sherwood Estate vineyard in Loxton has the only planting of Bianco d’Alessano in Australia with the vines coming up to 15 years old and looking as healthy and strong as ever. Fermented in stainless steel with wild vineyard yeast, the wine was bottled under crown seal to finish ferment, resulting in the Petillant Naturel, lightly sparkling style.
There is a lot to like in this years Bianco Pet Nat. It’s so bright and clean – intense tropical and citrus fruit bursting from the glass, it just screams drink me.
5. 2021 Analog Vermentino Pet Nat
Local delicious pet-nat, lime zest and pink grapefruit. Perfect aperitif. Lots of energy and fun. Dry floral aromas, some sweet lime zest. Bright bead, lingering minerality on the finish makes for clean and refreshing drinking. Zero sulfur.

Dusty rose in colour, its heady aroma hints at fun stuff like toffee apples, rose water, and apricots. Zippy acid provides the backbone, but its curves are fleshed out with fruity goodness.
Simply bottled before primary fermentation is finished. Wild ferment, and undisgorged. Zero adds.
7. 2020 Limus Riesling
This stunning Riesling is from natural-wine industry icon, Kyatt Dixon. A small amount of skin contact gives texture and crunch to floral grapefruit oil and fresh acid. Farmed using organic practices from low-yielding vines in Mount Gambier, VIC. Rested in old oak. No sulfur. A delicious golden beauty.
8. 2019 Cantina Margo 'Regio' Bianco Trebbiano
This is skin-macerated Trebbiano Spoletino, a rustic, textured orange wine with rich tropical fruit, bitter almonds, and sour orange/orange zest and a chalky, mineral-driven finish. Only a teeny-tiny production and offers a unique and soulful taste of Umbria, Italy.
9. 2020 Analog Fiano
You will love the journey of tasting this wine, starting with notes of toasted wonder-white and yellow nectarine, lemonade and waxy pear. The Fiano provides long grapefruit-pith tannins, a savoury finish and a big whack of funk! Keeps you going back for more. Harcourt, Vic. Zero sulfur. Delicious!
10. 2020 BEAST 006 by Vinious Heroine Society
80% whole berry destemmed over 20% un-crushed whole bunches. 247 days on skins (8 months) before pressing to a single "Apple Wood smoked" Francois Freres FO puncheon. 3 months elevage on full solids with “CO2 Battonage” occurring at one-month intervals. Sparged with CO2 & Apple Wood Smoke. Bottled under vacuum “w” nitrogen.

11. 2021 Yokel Verdelho
This fruit is from the traditional Lamonts vineyard planting, upper Swan, 80 years of age & dry grown. Hand harvest, then destemmed into open for slight skin contact, basket pressed straight to tank for a chill ferment. Battonaged on heavy lees for 3 months, full malo then racked & a touch of sulphur at bottling.
Verdelho is a classic variety from the Swan Valley, lost in the wave of alternate varieties planted over the years.
12. 2020 Pyren Vineyard Little RaRa Roopa
A skin contact wine of spicy texture and a fair skinned cabernet maker with a heart of gold and a ginger hue. When drinking this wine, you need to ask yourself... What would Roopa do?
