Four seriously good 2021 releases at an incredible price.
2021 Onannon 'The Level' Pinot Gris
Very aromatic, strawberry, guava, plenty of bunch spice and fresh green herbs. The palate is dry with some nuttiness. Freshness woven with intrigue and texture.
2021 Konpira Maru La Douche Tropicale
Lots going on here, starting with the appearance which is super cloudy. It's like a grown up version of the classic ice cream the Pine-lime Split. Lovely pineapple and lime aroma intertwine with a creamy mouthfeel and chalky tannins. Acid for days which leaves the palate screaming for more. Crunchy, tangy and delicious.
2021 Commune of Buttons 'Pretty Fun' Rosé Pet Nat
The 2021 Pretty Fun is textural with a good acid line thanks to the early harvest. It has a bright pink hue and the bead is fine. The un-disgorged wine is crisp with a leesy minerality and dangerously easy to drink at 11.5%.
Perfect for the backyard or a day in the park where the sun is shining!
2021 Delinquente 'Weeping Juan' Pet Nat
90% Vermentino + 10% Nero d'Avola. We are very happy with the result of Greg's pink pet nat blending this year, the Nero d’Avola turning the good times up to 11 with that super bright red fruit cutting through the citrus, stone fruit push of the Vermentino.
