Harvest arrived slightly later than in recent years, delivering balanced Pinot Noir with depth, freshness and excellent cellaring potential.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe hand-picked fruit was fermented as a combination of whole berries and whole bunches in open wooden and stainless-steel fermenters, with gentle plunging throughout. The wine then matured for 10 months in French oak, around one-third new.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDark fruit flows across a plush mid-palate, layered with baking spice, star anise and lifted violets. Fine tannins and savoury spice provide shape and composure, carrying the wine into a long, darkly spiced finish.
