The wine brings together three separate ferments, including a portion fermented on skins for seven days before ageing in old oak. The remaining parcels were fermented in tank and old oak without skin contact, then blended after four months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe skin-fermented component contributes subtle grip and savoury complexity, while tank fermentation preserves brightness and purity. Ben grew up just east of the Barossa Valley region in South Australia. After graduating from secondary school, Ben enrolled in business and marketing at Uni. Concurrently, Ben began working in the wine industry at cellar doors in the Barossa. He promptly decided that wine was much more fun than marketing and enrolled in a Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology at Adelaide University.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince then, Ben has had a whirlwind career which has seen him making wine all over the globe.
