These elevated, difficult-to-access terraces demand painstaking manual work, but reward Maria Luisa Marchetti with fruit of remarkable fragrance, energy and mountain freshness.

The wine blends 95% Nebbiolo with small amounts of Pignola, Rossola and Brunola from southeast-facing vineyards between 350 and 600 metres above sea level. The fruit was naturally fermented in stainless steel, completed malolactic conversion and matured for six months in large Slavonian oak botti.

Raspberry, blackberry, dark cherry and juniper fill the glass.
