About The Wine
Classic Chablis from Christophe’s stable of vineyard, most of which face the highly renowned Grand Cru Blanchots. The grapes are grown on brittle Kimmeridgian soil made almost entirely of decomposed fossilised oyster shells. This gives the wine flavours of rocky, shelly minerality which balances beautifully with the tight acidity, citrus and green fruits. A richness is also found in this wine giving a much needed weight. Very pure wine graced with good energy and grip in its bright fruit and long, elegant finish.
