2021 Good Intentions 'Boxer's Vineyard' Pinot Noir

Superbly balanced with lots of fruit purity and beautiful structure.
The wine has a pale ruby colour. The nose is pretty at first, with notes of crunchy red fruits and floral rose buds, then opening to layers of fruit and a touch of iron giving this wine more muscle. The palate is bright and lifted, with a delicious cherry ripe flavour balanced by good acidity and fine tannins. A great expression of the volcanic soils of Mount Gambier!
Organically grown Pinot Noir from the boxer's vineyard. Hand harvested in April, allowing a gentle and long ripening of the grapes. Mostly destemmed with a small portion of whole bunches included. The ferments are pumped over gently 3 times a day before being pressed and aged in old oak barrels for 12 months.
