I'd tried a few Pecorino wines before but when i first tried Emidio Pepe's Pecorino (thanks to my good friend & mentor Anthony Puharich) i was blown away - such an incredible & unique wine! This wine is a homage to that wine - hence the name.
Heathcote Pecorino - half pressed on day of picking, other half pressed the next day all to amphora to rest for 8 months. Gravity racked & hand bottled.
Golden hue, texture for days, zippy complex crispy mouth watering acidity, saline, chalky, rich ripe fruits & slight oxidative sherry notes. God i love this grape!
750ml 12.9% alc.
