The wine is CARMÉNÈRE, for a frolic.
The Carménère is from Taungurung Country (Heathcote). Sustainably farmed and passionately grown at Humis Vineyard. Half of the fruit saw daily pumpovers, the other saw daily punchdowns – an experiment. After a month on skins it was pressed to barrel for a nap.
Named in honour of Lou, who was rescued from the pound and now lives a life of wine and splendour.
