Notes from importer Liz Carey:
Several years ago Massimo and Antonella took over managing a property, Pedragrossa, on the outskirts of Bonastre. In addition to the vines, the property also had 200 olive trees which would allow them to produce olive oil for market rather than just the house. Over the past 3 years they have recuperated the tress and in 2020 have produced their first oil, low yielding, from Arbequina.
An Italian friend has helped write the following tasting note: green hued, grassy, pepper, a nice bitter edge, herbal, delicate but with depth. He said Liz, its a very good oil and gave it a thumbs up.
