Cabernet Franc, with a small amount of Grolleau. Whole bunch carbonic maceration for 6-8 days, then aged in tank. Wow, what a colour… and then wow, what a nose. Huge blackcurrant vibrancy. So aromatic and clean. Man, that’s a smasher. Blackcurrants, roses and dark plums - but lifted so that it’s not rich in any way. Has a mineral vein running through it. And then a very subtle savoury undertone. Amazing. Big energy and very flavourful. It's more of a fun wine than a serious Cab Franc. And at 12% with a slight chill... boom! Pourable too.
