Here's a new one from a young man named Suga Takahiro. He has produced a skin contact Sauvignon Blanc using fruit from the Summertown vineyard in the Adelaide Hills.
On opening, the wine is a little closed but after a bit of air it really opens up to show some lovely citrus peel aromas and fleshy tropical fruits. The palate is bright and juicy with a slight bitterness on the finish.
Suga suggests decanting the wine before enjoying.
Unfined, unfiltered and zero additions. Nice one Suga.
