A difficult Spring in the Adelaide Hills meant lean yields for most producers. All the fruit comes off Organically farmed vineyards, manual basket press for all wines with no pumps used. Zero additions including no added S02. The following notes are provided by the winemaker, Rachel.
Single-vineyard Pinot Noir from terroir of red clay over sandstone, grown by one of the original Adelaide Hills winegrowers in Piccadilly Valley. The nose is smoky and earthy, with ripe plums; the palate is soft and silky with cola notes and black pepper overtones. Try it with salami-topped pizza or roast chicken.
