From a 120 year old vineyard (!!) on the Northern face of Sicily's Mt. Etna comes this wine; a field blend of Carricante, Catarratto, Minella, Pizzutella grown in the volcanic soils of the area. The fruits spends a day and a half on skins before being pressed to chestnut barrels for 9 months before being bottled with absolutely no additions.
The name Caravan Petrol refers to the newcomers to Etna, who purchase and bulldoze land for vineyards in an effort to profit off the region's popularity.
Super fresh and structured with a floral perfume, exotic spices and lemon citrus. The palate is crisp, delicate and refreshing; a truly exceptional wine!
