A beautiful and complex red wine made from the local variety, Teroldego. You may have tried Foradori's Lezer in the past which is assembled from the same variety but made in a lighter style.
The vines that grow in the Sgarzon vineyard are particularly active and benefit from the cooler climate that characterizes this site. This enriches the wine with freshness and vitality. Whilst it spends the same 8 months in Spanish Tinaja, the wine is lighter in body with a more red fruit focused palate and a wealth of fine-grained tannins.
