Olivier Riviere is a Frenchman making traditional Rioja. He'd worked with some of the best winemakers in the game (Cossard, Leroy) and possesses the knowledge. His concept is to make wines with the sense of place and precision of his beloved Burgundy, in the fabled territory of Rioja.
Rayos Uva is Olivier’s version of a Bourgogne Rouge sourced from fruit grown in the sandy, gravelly and alluvial soils of Rioja Baja. The blend is dependent on the vintage but usually includes Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano – percentages change each year to create a brightly fruity version of Rioja unmarked by oak, 100% stainless and you can taste the fresh crunch of red fruits.
