From a family vineyard which has been farmed for three generations. They also grow almonds and olives. The fruit from their organic vineyard has, in the past, been sold to producers like Lamoresca and Frank Cornelissen. Dario (26) is now running the show and he makes wines that he says are only extreme in their deliciousness.
This is a blend of 90% Frappato and 10% Nero d'Avola. It is vinified in stainless steel and matured in fibreglass. It is so aromatic and fresh, with such purity. Bright cherry and berry flavours abundant. Some subtle spice and a lick of Turkish delight. This is such a cracking wine. Stoked on it's arrival.
