Beautiful Beaujolais Villages from 50-60 year old vines.
Notes from the boss himself Ryan Larkin:
'Delicate light red colour - very translucent with purple tinges. Beautiful perfume of roses, cherries, rocks and a touch of aniseed. Very fresh and supple on palate. Sweet fruit with a darkish core, littered with gentle baking spice and slightly savoury herbaceous notes. Becomes crunchy with time, and opens up with air. Raspberries, boysenberries and purple florals become more apparent. It has a fine mineral line through it, representing the granite. Gentle on the palate, and finishes with beautiful acidity. This is very easy and smashable, and of course is best served with a moderate chill. An excellent by the glass option for restaurants, or just good for a no-fuss weeknight wine. Punches way above it's weight for the price.'
